Description

Mojopin Studios is a small, independent game development studio based in Northern Ireland. Currently working on All Star Gaelic Football for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. We are a passionate, Gaelic sports loving crowd and want to produce the best recreation of football possible. We are working hard to produce something special so hope you are excited to see what we have in store!

History

Early days

Mojopin Studios has been a long time pet project for Technical Director Peadar McMahon. Created in 2010, with the sole intent of creating a Gaelic Football game, Mojopin Studios have been pursuing their dream for a long time. In the early days, while searching for the right opportunity to get traction with the Gaelic Football game, Mojopin Studios created a number of websites and mobile apps, but nothing was going to satiate the desire to make the game.

After that

All Star Gaelic Football has been around for a while, at least in theory. Mojopin Studios has been all over Ireland, trying to find the right partner to bring the game forward, it has been a long and arduous journey. Unfortunately Mojopin Studios missed the Celtic Tiger and funding has been hard to come by. But there was hope with NI Screen and Invest NI helping to bring together a Kickstarter campaign for the All Star Gaelic Football. Months of work followed, combining with some talented artists across the island, to bring the Kickstarter campaign to fruition. Currently in the lead up to the campaign, it will launch on 9th April and Mojopin Studios aim to raise £30,000 to help bring Gaelic Football back to video games!

Kickstarter and beyond...

This part of the journey is yet to be written but, if we were to speculate, we'd guess we raised £1m and All Star Gaelic Football will be the best game in history...we could be wrong though!
